Dylan is a Chinese film director from Toronto, Ontario. His style revolves around strong talent direction, meticulously crafted frames, and an edit-conscious approach. He is drawn to character driven stories that call for a unique visual language. His most recent short film, SHRIMP FRIED RICE had its World Premiere at Fantasia International Film Festival where it won Best Screenplay and the Silver Audience Award for Best Short Film. He won Bronze at the 2024 Cannes Young Lions competition for his work titled “WHAT A WASTE”. He is currently in development for a martial arts short film titled DYNASTY GARDEN, an untitled crime thriller feature film, and he is also in post-production for a comedy horror short titled DON'T RAISIN!
