Dylan is a Chinese film director from Toronto, Ontario. His style revolves around strong talent direction, meticulously crafted frames, and an edit-conscious approach. He is drawn to character driven stories that call for a unique visual language. His most recent short film, Shrimp Fried Rice had its World Premiere at Fantasia International Film Festival where it won Best Screenplay and the Silver Audience Award for Best Short Film. He won Bronze at the 2024 Cannes Young Lions competition for his work titled “What A Waste”. He is currently in development for a supernatural “traumedy” series called The Haunting of Trisha Lozada. Outside of film, he is a hockey player, music producer, and cornhole league commissioner.
